Overcoming FEAR…

As a Christin FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real but as of Sunday 30th November, 2014 I discovered that it really means Face everything and Rise. I found this to be quite innovative and real. So many times when faced with FEAR instinctively we would like to run away and seek solace in something that is familiar and don’t face reality or the unknown. But we should face FEAR head on.

Overcoming FEAR is gradual, but if we really want to be overcomers we need to face it.

As of last week I attended to a symposium on stopping violence against women and men and I realised that there have been many channels to assist persons who are presently being abused by a significant other but there is nothing in place to monitor and follow up persons as they recover and overcome a very traumatic experience.

This blog as a result is geared particularly towards this as it seeks to assist both parties and other persons in society overcome their fear.

  1. fear creates a paralyzing effect. this may be why those who are abused find it hard the remove themselves from that situation.
